Abstract (EN)

This study is done for revealing sufficiency in reaching achievements defined in tales texts of 6th, 7th, 8th textbooks prepared according to renewed 2006 Turkish education schedule.Turkish education schedule being insufficient in consequence of technological developments and innovation of teaching methods was renewed in 2006. In this study; it is given an abstract in the sense of renewed schedule. The general goals of schedule, basic skills expected in reaching goals and basic language skills are presented.In pursuit of presenting schedule, impacts of tales in children developments and contributions to students are given. The definition of tale, resources, classifications, and parts, importance of child education and properties should be in tales of textbooks are examined.In this study; scanning method is used. Tales in nine Turkish teacher?s books prepared according to 2006 schedule and composed of student textbook and workbook are examined.At the end of this study; being lack of the numbers of tales in Turkish textbooks prepared according to 2006 schedule and being insufficient of sentimental in textbooks are occurred. Nevertheless; it is deduced that activities are in the quality of improving the basic language skillsKey Words: Turkish education schedule, tale, textbook, achievement, basic language skills.
