Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to compare the residential reinforced concrete structures with ZD-ZE soil class in ANTALYA, which were designed according to the 20007 EARTHQUAKE REGULATION, using the linear analysis method according to TBDY 2018. While making these comparisons, calculations were made separately according to the 2007 and 2018 Earthquake Codes. While it is obligatory to take into account the vertical earthquake effect in some cases in the 2018 Earthquake Code, this is not the case in the 20007 Earthquake Code. In this context, the vertical earthquake effect was also investigated according to the 2018 Earthquake Code on the building models created. The carrier systems were determined according to the standards of both regulations, and their analyzes were made under the impacting loads.
