Abstract (EN)

Lately terrorist incidents with the relevant in spite of measures taken by the government of Turkey As a result of the internal conflicts that emerged within Syria and affected the Middle East countries, starting with the Arab Spring in 2011 and the intense migration to our country as well as the terrorist attacks, operations initiated under Article 51 of the UN have been ongoing since the partially successful "Shah Firat Operation" in 2015, with "2016 Euphrates Shield Operation, 2017 Idlib Operation, 2018 Olive Branch Operation, 2019 Peace Spring Operation" and the ongoing "Spring Shield Operation" in 2020, important steps have been taken to protect Turkey's border security. Turkey has used domestically produced equipment developed by the Turkish Defense Industry in the cross-border military operations carried out. In general, with the success of the operations and the emergence of positive results, political parties' views on the operations, whether positive or negative, have been discussed in their election manifestos, and their efforts to play an active role in the domestic political agenda have been examined in this study.
