Abstract (EN)

The concept of architectural space has been emerged with people's needs. In almost every period, societies have created their structures by using the local materials and construction techniques of the era. Societies in almost every period, using local materials and construction techniques of the era have created their own structure. Along with the post-industrial revolution, the rapid population growth has led to an increase in need for new structures. The breakthrough took place in the industry as well as the growing usage range of ceramics and glasses, has made it necessary to the development and the discovery of new materials as well as different forms and surfaces used in these structures. Today, a variety of computer-aided design programs and innovative design concepts have almost put forward a personalized architectural applications. This privatization process led to a technical and formal privatization for materials of old era such as ceramic and glass. In the study, the artistic usage of surface formation and coating examples on ceramic and glass are examined by the means of today`s architectural practice.
