According to Law No 2863 protection of natural assets

The determination, protection, and hand down to the next generations of natural assets, which are considered to be the common heritage of humanity, is an international issue whose importance is increasing with each passing day. In the globalizing world, while seeking solutions for environmental problems, the number of protected natural assets has been rapidly increasing especially in developed countries. We should carry out well-attended studies for the protection of the environment and natural assets by going beyond the cliches like that our country is surrounded by seas from three sides or it is located at rich geography where all four seasons are experienced together. Then, we should create a common awareness of environmental protection. Legislative regulations should be guided by considering the importance of balancing conservation with utilization for all living creatures. In this thesis, a study has been done about natural assets which are needed to be protected within the scope of Law No 2863 on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets in the context of administrative law. The responsibilities of the competent authorities in the protection of natural assets and the structure, operation, tasks, and taken decisions of the protection commission of natural assets have been examined in detail. By addressing the problems encountered in practice, solution proposals were presented.
