Özet (EN)
The necessity of lower supply voltage is increasing since the electronic components are getting geometrically smaller in accordance with the developments on consumer electronics area. 3.3 V and lower operating voltages are replacing the standard 5 V designs. It has been necessary to research about advantages, disadvantages, cost, power consumption etc. in electronic control board design for white goods, since the transition period for 3.3 V supply voltage started. In this thesis, an electronic oven control board whose operating voltage is 3.3 V was designed as a prototype, and results of the process were discussed and compared to 5 V design under the headings of hardware design, power analysis and cost analysis. Additionally, the other hardware blocks (white led driver circuit, communication circuits between 5 V and 3.3 V design) that can be used in 3.3 V design were analyzed and problems that can occur in 3.3 V design and their solutions were investigated. Consequently, this thesis report which includes the details and results of the study has been presented.
