Abstract (EN)
The legal system has an important place in the Ottoman Empire to become an empire. The Empire has established a unique legal system with the legacy of the past. Within this legal system, the Kalabend, Şer'iyye Registry and Ahkâm Registry has an important place holds. The Ottoman Empire in the 17th century began to be applied significantly In the Kalebend registry, which are widespread and in the 18th crimes against, there are some types of punishments, such as küreğe koyma, exile and warning. In the 39th issue of the Kalabend registry between Hicri Evâ'il-i Zi'l-hicce 1245 and Evâsıt-ı Şa'bân 1249 (Gregorian 1830-1834) the crimes and the penalties and crimes against these crimes were examined. In order to prevent disruption of social life in the same registry, complaints to the center were taken into account and necessary interventions were made by the officials. The Ottoman Empire did not hesitate to give the necessary punishments against the perpetrators by always keeping its authority to intervene in the behaviors that would prejudice the order and order of its people. In this process, criminals were sentenced to many penalties. The Empire aimed to improve the crimes of the perpetrators under constant control.
