Abstract (EN)
In landscape architecture applications, integrating real-world objects into design processes is a detailed and time-consuming process. In order for complex objects, especially sculptures or human figures, to be used accurately and effectively in design projects, these objects must be transferred to the digital environment. However, these traditional methods are time-consuming and may often require repeated corrections to achieve the desired level of accuracy. For these reasons, using high-tech tools such as lidar scanners is becoming increasingly popular. Lidar scanners enable fast and precise scanning of objects, making it easier to transfer them to the virtual environment. These scanners precisely capture the geometric structure and surface details of objects, allowing designers to create realistic and detailed models. Within the scope of this study, methods and processes related to scanning landscape objects with lidar scanners and transferring them to the virtual environment were examined. Based on the data obtained by scanning a specific object and creating its digital model, the object was integrated into the design process. This method makes the design process more efficient and contributes to the creation of more realistic and detailed projects in the field of landscape architecture.
