Abstract (EN)
In this study, starting material which was 2-chloro-N-[4-(morpholin-4-yl)phenyl]acetamide [I], was synthesized from the reaction of 4-(morpholin-4-yl)aniline with chloroacetyl chloride. This amide compound [I] was reacted with different amines such as morpholine, aniline, 4- (trifluoromethoxy)aniline, 4-chloroaniline, 4-methylthioaniline, 4-fluoroaniline, 4- (trifluoro-methylthio)aniline, piperidine, 4-nitroaniline, p-anisidine in anhydrous acetone medium to synthesize nine new amide derivatives. The physical and chemical properties of the synthesized compounds were characterized by methods such as melting point determination, Elemental Analysis, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (1H NMR and13C NMR), Liquid Chromatography –Mass Spectroscopy (LC-MS) and Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR).
