Abstract (EN)

(Şer'iyye Sijlls) are Ottoman Court records which include documents revealing the proceedings in courts during Ottoman Empire. These court records are accepted as reference sources on many subjects from management and military to social fields. This study consists of transcription of folios from 1 to 109 of the court records of Ayntâb numbered 40 and dated between 1103-1104 AH- Islamic Calendar- (1692-1693 AD). Following the transcriptions, court cases and records were classified and criticized scientifically and then evaluated. Thanks to this transcription and the study, to some extent we tried to shed light on the political, military, economical and cultural circumstances of the Ottoman in general and Ayntâb in particular in the last quarter of 17th century. As a result of the research, a conclusion was made on the political, military, economical and cultural structure of Ayntâb in the last quarter of 17th century.
