SINGLE-PHASE RECLOSINGON 400 kV TRANSMISSION LINE WITH SHUNT REACTOR(M.Sc. Thesis)Murat ÖZDEMİRGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJanuary 2006ABSTRACTIn this Msc. Thesis, the effects of reclosing, for which is important withrespect of stability in power systems, on power systems and after thatreclosing applications are explained. Then secondary arc current andsecondary recovery voltage are introduced teorically and amplitudes ofthose values are calculated with respect to lenght of transmission lineand in case of using shunt reactor. After that those which affectedsecondary arc current and secondery recorvery voltage are introducedby simulations in ATP, which is computer simulation program.Application of reclosing on 400 kV transmission line with shunt reactorcan be applied successfully in case of keeping dead-time long enoughby simulations.Science Code : 905. 1.150Key Words : Single-phase reclosing, secondary arc current, recovery voltage, dead-timePage Number : 83Adviser : Prof.Dr.M.Cengiz TAPLAMACIOĞLU
