Synthesis and characterization of schiff base ligands of salicylaldehyde derivatives with 5-phenyl-6h-1,3,4-thiadiazine-2-amine and its complexes

From these ligands, metal complexes of Ni(II),Cu(II) and Co(II) have been synthesized.The structure of the ligands and complexes have been investigated by instrumental methods,FT-IR, NMR, melting points, elemental analysis, UV-visible spectroscopu and magneticsusceptibility.According to obtained results it was found that the metal to ligand ratio in the complexes is1:2 ıt was found that experimental and therotical results are in agreement witheachother.Key words: thiadiazin, schiff base, metal complex
