Abstract (EN)

Sharia registries are books in which judges representing justice record the transactions they carry out or the decisions they give regarding judicial cases submitted to the Sharia courts in the settlements where they work, copies of official documents received from higher authorities and judicial events in the regions they are responsible for. These books, kept by kad and naibs, contain various documents such as edict, charter, order, letter, tezkire, hüccet and i'lam. Registers contain the relations between the center and the provinces, documents belonging to state officials and decisions taken by kadis. Thanks to the religious records, it is possible to obtain information about the social, economic, administrative, military and legal characteristics of the period to which it belongs. In this study, based on the data obtained from Bor Şer'iyye Registry No. 5, the socio-economic situation of Bor District and the effects of military activities between the years (H. 1083-1085) (M. 1672-1675) were tried to be analyzed. Key Words: Sharia Court Registers, Kadi (Muslim Judge), Bor, Niğde
