Abstract (EN)

The convenience and quality that information systems add to human life make technological transformation indispensable. However, with the development of technology, the use of these information systems that facilitate human life also brings legal problems and responsibilities. The types of crimes committed through information systems are increasing day by day. The abstraction of the concept of space by the information system creates flexibility in the methods and types of crimes to be committed in this system. Crimes arising from technology sometimes cause a lot of damage in a short time and sometimes make it difficult to detect the perpetrator. This study aims to emphasize the importance of legal legislation in protecting information systems and to show the status of the necessary legal infrastructure in the fight against crimes committed in information systems. In this study, the Crime of Entering an Information System, which is included in the Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies in the tenth section of the third section under the title Crimes Against Society organized within the special provisions of the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, will be examined.
