Abstract (EN)
This study aims to determine the effect of physical activity on social support and well-being for people over the age of 55 and older. The sample consists of people living in the center of Antalya City, Konyaaltı district and being physically active. The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support MSPSS and the WHO-five Well-being Index has been used in order to study well-being and the perceived support. Pearson correlation coefficient, partial correlation, chi-square and independent t-test have been used for the analysis. The relation between physical activity and social support and well-being were statically significant (p<,05).
