The effect of 'the theaching method of 5E' on the life of 8th class students on understanding the electric subject and attitudes to science

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of 5E learning method prepared for the advanced configuration approach on troubleshooting the misconception and on the attitudes of students to Siences was researched and examined.Activity Sampling consists of 70 students from 8th degree class in two different elementary schools. Application was performed in second semester of years 2009-2010. One of them is experimental group in which the lessons are taught by 5E learning method; and the other one is control group in which the lessons are taught by traditional learning method (this selection was performed randomly). Electricity in our lives test, attitudes of students to Sciences scale and 5E learning method opinion forms were used as means of data accumulation in activity.Data obtained from research was examined using single factorial covariance analysis (ANCOVA) in order to compare unrelated t-test with expressiveness of differences between related groups.Results of research determined and demonstrated that experimental group students taking lessons by 5E learning method advanced more and more according to attitude and achievement points.
