Teacher's opinions about teaching of values that is going to be given directly at 6th grade units

In this research, teacher's opinions about teaching of values that is going to be given directly at 6th grade units, were tried to be specified.As a mean of data gathering, 4 department and survey form that consists of totally 38 items and semi-structured interview were used. In the fall semester of 2017-2018 academic year, survey form prepared with google docs program was applied to totally 381 teachers work in 263 secondary schools in 72 different provinces in Turkey. Interview form was applied to totally 13 teachers work in 8 secondary schools in 10 different provinces.In determining random paradigm, semi-structured interview form was applied. At the end of the research, it's been found that, teachers used value analysis and observation approaches mostly and indoctrination approach least. in teaching of values. And besides, it's been specified that teachers used questions-answer and telling-explaining techniques mostly and observation trips least. It's been determined that teachers used question and answer teachnique mostly and portfolio least, to determine at what level students learnt values. It's been concluded that from the values to be given directly to the 6th grades, sensivity to the nature was gained mostly, and the value of diligence was gained least.
