Abstract (EN)
Turkey is a seismically active region. This situation causes earthquakes to occur frequently in our country. The seismic activity of our country and the frequency of earthquakes attract the attention of many scientists. Thanks to GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), one of the geodetic surveying methods, changes due to earthquakes can be calculated and strain analysis can be performed. In this study, it is aimed to determine the strains caused by the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023 using TUSAGA-AKTİF stations. For this purpose, a total of 21 TUSAGA AKTİF stations' pre and post-earthquake 24 hour RINEX data for a total of 30 days were used. These data were evaluated with GAMIT/GLOBK, AUSPOS and Trimble RTX software and two-dimensional strain analysis was performed on the coordinate data obtained. The study area was divided into 28 triangles and strain analysis was performed for each triangle. The results of the analysis show that the highest strain is observed in the EKZ1-MAR1-ANTE and EKZ1-ANTE-MLY1 triangles. This is because EKZ1, MAR1, ANTE and MLY1 stations are very close to the epicenter of the earthquakes. Again, when the change in point coordinates is taken into consideration, it is seen that the biggest changes are observed at EKZ1, MLY1, MAR1, ANTE and TUF1 stations, respectively. Considering this situation, each station was selected as a reference point and the directions connected to this point were taken into account. The parameters calculated with different software are consistent with each other, as in the triangulation method. In addition, displacements were calculated from the geodetic coordinates of pre-earthquake and post earthquake station points obtained with the GAMIT/GLOBK software. The largest displacements were observed at the EKZ1, MLY1, MAR1, ANTE, and TUF1 stations.
