Developmental guidance and counseling program proposal for 60-72 month children with family participating

An individual's; taking a step for "self-fulfilling human being", sustaining evolution tasks healthfully beginning from the very early years of his childhood through both in his current and following periods will be only possible with developmental guidance and counseling service presented to him. In view of developmental guidance and counseling using "lifelong concept", the developmental guidance and counseling service which is needed to have been given at the early childhood should be needed visible. With being started to be given of the developmental guidance and counseling service to the grown-ups who provide childcare and education to the children during pre-school period, the basis of the developmental guidance and counseling services which will be given during later education steps will be set up. Ever increasing percentage of children who begins the school from the age of four and ever increasing of this trend, to set off counseling and guidance program primarily being used as standard for the class activities, makes developmental guidance and counseling service inevitable for this group of children including with interactive environment of them. With this study, preparing guidance program with family participation for 60-72 month children is aimed. To do this, preschool education and preschool guidance and counseling scientific field of relevant Turkey and abroad were scanned, the collected data was converted sub-problems which constitute of the concept teaching program. The program's qualification indicators, content, the step of measurement and evaluation and assessment of the field specialists constitute sub-problems of this study. As a result of this study, the 27-week developmental guidance and counseling program proposal along with family participation proposal were prepared. At the end of the study, "27-Week Developmental Guidance and Counseling Program Proposal with Family Participating" has been prepared. The evaluator of the field specialists found that the practicability of the program proposal is very high at the rate of between 83-100%.
