According to Tahrir numbered 64 (1572) register Mesarya district (Translated and evaluation)

Cyprus had an important position in the Eastern Mediterranean and it maintained its importance after the Ottoman conquest. The Ottomans took measures, so that Cyprus economy could improve and firstly, they wrote whole income sources of Cyprus. This implementation was called as tahrir system. The Cyprus Tahrir Register numbered 64 was made in 1572. Now it has been saved in Kuyud-ı Kadime Archives in Ankara. The Cyprus Tahrir Register has contained social and economic data of Cyprus in 1572. In this study, the mentioned register's data was translated and the social and economic life of Mesarya district was tried to be evaluated.
