The transcription and evaluation of Ayntab Sharia Court registry Numbered 68 (H. 1129-1130 / Ad. 1717-1718 pages 179-356)

Sharia court registers, the decisions taken by the judges with the jurisdiction of the Ottoman Empire, the records they hold, administrative, political and legal correspondence that includes documents. The registers contain the old settlements of the city to which it belongs, the nicknames given to the people here, the commercial relations of the people with each other, their social lives, their economic status, their legal relations and they give important information about the courts. These documents which are kept separately from certain regions are important sources for the in-depth study and investigation of Ottoman history. There are 174 Sharia court registry belonging to the Ayntâb', which is a sanjak of the province of Aleppo. Hijri 1129-1130 (M. 1717-1718) dated and numbered 68 numbered Ayntâb Sharia court registry consists of a total of 536 pages. This study includes the transcription and evaluation of 178 pages that constitute the second half of the journal. In the transcription section of the thesis, the upper part of each document is provided with information about the page number, the document number and the subject and type of the document, and the documents are used in a more practical way and classified.
