Abstract (EN)
With the developing technology in recent years, it started to develop in materials used in the industrial field. In addition to traditionally used materials, materials that have been started to be produced in new materials or have been continuously used have begun to be replaced. The use of such materials has also led to renewal in industry and industry. Production of materials for use in automotive, aerospace, space technology, maritime, construction and other sectors has increased in different areas of the industry. There are many materials available for this renovation. One of these materials is Aluminum. Aluminum is the most abundant metal in the environment, a recyclable metal, and the most commonly used metal in engineering fields after steel. Aluminum is a light metal with good corrosion resistance, comfortable shape and good thermal conductivity. Despite these properties, their hardness, mechanical properties and abrasion abilities are lower than steel. Aluminum is a high and difficult metal that can be welded at the same time with the properties we mentioned. The oxide layer on the aluminum during welding melts at a higher temperature than the aluminum metal itself. Because of this reason, the structural change occurs in the aluminum from the high temperature given to melt the oxide layer, and as a result, the mechanical properties decrease due to grain growth. In traditional welding methods, extreme heat treatment is required and this situation has been tried to be improved by the new welding methods developed. The CMT cold metal transfer technique, which has begun to be used as a result of these studies. With this method, high drop passage is suitable for fast welding automation, and most importantly, cold metal transfer technique with low heat input. In this study, aluminum 6082-T6 sheets with a thickness of 1 mm were joined by CMT method. AlMg5 and AlSi5 wires with a thickness of 1 mm were used in the study. The samples are prepared in the form of a receive link. Five different parameters were used in the welding process: current intensity, welding speed, gas flow, torch angle and different wires. The microhardness distributions between the tensile strength and the connecting region of the CMT bonded materials were investigated. Optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and point element analyzer EDS were used in macro and microstructure tests. In this study, the distribution of current intensity, welding speed, gas flow, torch angle and welding area of different wires and microstructure and microhardness of the transition region between Aluminum 6082 and T6 were investigated.
