7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreye yönelik tutumlarının ölçülmesi (Simav ilçe örneği)

The aim of this study; to measure the attitudes of the 7th and 8th classes in Simav district of Kütahya towards the environment and to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that can measure them. The scope of the study consists of 7th and 8th grade students studying in Simav in the 2015-2016 academic year. The sample group consist of 635 students who participated in the research on the principle of volunteering in the 7th and 8th grades in 13 secondary schools randomly selected from the official secondary schools in Simav district of Kütahya. In the study, personal ınformation questionnaire and the attitude toward environment scale developed by the researcher were used. The data obtained from the study were analyzed with SPSS program. At the end of the study, reliable and valid attitude scale towards environment was developed. In the results of the study; a significant difference was found between the attitudes of students towards the environment and the frequency of reading the resources related to the class level, gender and Science course. No significant difference was found between the average scores of the students and the level of education of the parents, the presence of a room in their own right, and the number of hours a week they used internet for their studies.
