Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to determine the perceptions of 41 seventh and eighth grade students about recycling and waste, studying at Kırıkhan İmam Hatip Secondary School in Kırıkhan, Hatay province, in the 2021-2022 academic year. Prepared by the researcher, waste batteries, plastic bags, waste oils and waste paper environmental issues related to scenarios where students are prepared and their responses were evaluated by the data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS 23 rubrics. Accordingly, the secondary school is 7 and 8 disposal of waste batteries of students in the class, the use of plastic bags, waste oil, caused by partially adequate perception of pollution and waste paper is a sufficient level of awareness of environmental issues in the level of development of an alternative solution to environmental problems related to waste and recycling is not enough and the perceptions of gender, grade level, and that is not different according to place of birth of mother and father has been observed.
