Woman as a subject in body art of the 70s

From prehistoric times to the present with the patriarchal order, women's identity has been accepted as a second type in many societies. The search for idenfication of female identity as a 'subject' tried to survive in the shadow of the man , within yhe limits allowed by this patriarchal order. Cities that developed in the late 18th and early 19th centuries , the actions that sported the questioning and defence of women's identitiy with the social movements experienced with the industrial revolotions were developed by female pioneers from diffrent social segment of the period and a feminist movement was formed İn order to libarete women, the feminist mpvement has developed through social an political actions that have started to appear under the name of educatian and gender equality. The concept pf feminism and feminist movement in contemprory art has been reflected in tkr works and productions of women artist from the modern ero to the present day. Many female artist involved in the feminist movement have tried to reveal their own existance through their work in order to create their own identies and liberate their bodies with the performance art that began to take place in the 70s, many female artist used their bodies as object of arts.In the performances that take place, they will use their own bodies, as well as re-question the female identity through their bodies and the subjective process through the body that turns into action will be examined with performance samples.
