Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of constructivist 7E learning model on academic achievements and retention of 6th grade students in the teaching subject of "factors and multiples ". This research was carried out with 38 sixth grade students in two classrooms of a public secondary school at the first semester of 2014-2015 academic year. In this study, pre test and post test control grouped quasi-experimental pattern is used. One of the classrooms was selected randomly as the experimental group (n=17) and the other as the control group (n=21). While the students in the experimental group were carried out with materials based on 7E learning circle model, teaching in control group was carried out according to teaching models suggested by course books developed based on Mathematic teaching program. As a conclusion of the statistical study, it is found out that lesson activitiy of the subject of "factors and multiples " based on 7E learning circle model can't support significantly students' achievement and retention.
