Özet (EN)
The aim of this study, 7E model and creative drama based 7E model, is to investigate the effects about Magnetic Field on the achievement and attitudes of pre-service teachers who study at Gazi Faculty of Education and take Physics IV course. For this purpose, applications were carried out in two distinct groups. 7E model for one of group and the other for creative drama based 7E model were based. Application time for each group is 15 teaching hours. Achievement Test on the Subject of Magnetic Field, Attitude Scale for the Subject of Magnetic Field and Semi-Structured Interview Forms were used as a means of data collection in the research. Achievement Test on the Subject of Magnetic Field is composed of three sub-dimensions, including questions that require finding direction, conceptual questions and questions that require correlation. Attitude Scale for the Subject of Magnetic Field is composed of five sub-dimension, including interest, importance, behaviour associated with interest, achievement-motivation and self-sufficiency. There are three Semi-Structured Interview Forms, including Semi-Structured Interview Form 1, Semi-Structured Interview Form 2 and Semi-Structured Interview Form 3. Achievement Test on the Subject of Magnetic Field and Attitude Scale for the Subject of Magnetic Field were performed as pre test, post test and delayed test for all students and semi-structured interviews were implemented for six students. SPSS program was used for the analysis of quantitative data. Content analysis was practiced for qualitative data obtained from Semi-Structured Interview Forms. It is confirmed that achievements about the subject of Magnetic Field of students who study according to both 7E model and creative drama based 7E model, increased on significant level and became permanent after the application for each sub-dimension and for the whole test using the findings of Achievement Test on the Subject of Magnetic Field. In order to determine whether there is a difference between achievements of student groups, there is no significant difference between groups for both sub-dimensions and whole test according to the results of the analysis. According to the results of difference point analysis of delayed test- last test to compare the permanence of the achievements, there is no significant difference for two sub-dimension of Achievement Test on the Subject of Magnetic Field (conceptual questions and questions that require correlation) with whole test, while there is no significant difference in favor of group studying creative drama based 7E model for one sub-dimension (questions that require finding direction). It is established that findings from semi-structured interviews supports the findings from achievement test.According to the findings from Attitude Scale for the Subject of Magnetic Field, it is investigated that students study both 7E model and creative drama based 7E model points that were obtained from all and all sub-dimensions except one sub-dimension of scale are increased significantly. When Attitude Scale for the Subject of Magnetic Field points evaluated with regards to permanence, points that were gained from some sub-dimensions decreased significantly for students study 7E model in time, so it is seen that attitudes should be discussed primarily on predisposition, while it is investigated that there is no significant change in points from all and all sub-dimensions for students study creative drama based 7E model in time. In order to understand whether attitudes of students are different between groups after applications according to the results of analysis, there is no significant difference between groups for both sub-dimensions and whole test. According to the results of delayed test-last test different point analysis of compared groups, there is significant difference in favour of group that is used creative drama based 7E model two sub-dimensions (achievement-motivation and self-sufficiency) in total while there is no significant difference for other sub-dimensions and all scale. Keywords: Constructivist Approach, 7E model, Creative Drama, Physics Education, Magnetic Field
