Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of korfball-based movement training on selected motor skills in 10-12 year old athletes. The sample group of the study consists of 35 athletes training in korfball at Batman Sports High School Sports Club. Our study consists of control (20 people) and experimental (15 people) groups. Korfball-based movement training was applied 3 days a week, 60-90 minutes a day for 8 weeks. Athletes were given vertical jump, height and weight measurement, flexibility measurement, waist-hip circumference measurement, Illinois agility test, 20-meter sprint test, 30-meter sprint test, plank test, 30-second sit-up test, 30-second push-up test before and after the training period. Pre-test and post-test comparisons were made with the measurements. SPSS program was used to statistically analyze the data obtained at the end of the research. Data; presented as arithmetic mean and standard deviation. Shapiro-Wilk test for normality test; Levene test was applied to test homogeneity. Skewness and kurtosis values were checked for data sets that did not show a normal distribution, and data sets within ±2 were considered to have a normal distribution. To analyze the differences between applications, two-way analysis of variance (2x2) was applied in repeated measurements. Greenhouse Geiser correction test was used in measurements where the assumption of sphericity was not met. Tukey test was used in post hoc analysis. According to the results of two-way analysis of variance of the vertical jump, plank test, 20 m and 30 m sprint test applied by the participants in the control and experimental groups, a statistically significant difference was determined between the groups. According to the results of two-way analysis of variance of the illionis, flexibility, push-up and sit-up tests applied by the participants in the control and experimental groups, no statistically significant difference was detected between the groups. As a result; statistically significant differences were found in the biomotor parameters of the korfball-based movement training program in plank, vertical jump strength, 20 and 30 meter speed skills.
