Investigation of the teaching of the Treaty of Lozan in curriculum and textbook of Republic of Turkey History of Revolution and Ataturism

In this study, the place and importance of the Lausanne Peace Treaty in the 8th grade history of revolution and Kemalism course curriculum was examined. In this context, the curriculum; are discussed in detail around the purpose and achievement. All these studies were evaluated within the scope of the Lausanne Peace Treaty and the place of Lausanne in the curriculum was analyzed. In the study carried out with document analysis and content analysis, which are qualitative research designs, the curriculum and the textbook were examined. The analyzes were also carried out within the framework of content analysis Lausanne. When the curriculum was examined, the secondary education revolution course curriculum, in which the Lausanne Peace Treaty was presented in the best way, was evaluated within the scope of the research. In addition, the principles of Kemalism were evaluated in this context and took their place in the research, albeit partially. In general, the 8th Grade Revolution History and Kemalism course program and specifically the Lausanne Peace Treaty, which is included in this program, constitute the subject of the study. Therefore, every situation and every event affecting the Lausanne Peace Treaty is also covered in the study. In addition, the position, processing and explanation of the Lausanne Peace Treaty in the curriculum were examined and evaluated in detail. The Treaty of Lausanne, which has a very important place in the history of Turkey, stands out as one of the political victories won in the history of the Republic. The economic and political independence of the Lausanne Treaty stands out as one of the most frequently emphasized themes in the curriculum.
