The transcri̇pti̇on and evaluati̇on of Aydın Ayni̇yat Regi̇ster Numbered 812

In Ottoman Empire during XIX. century, Ayniyat Registers which were transcripts of documents that Grand Viziership penned those for giving a response to inscriptions that dispatched from provinces, ministries and some government departments or send instructions to them. Ayniyat Registers stands in Sublime Port Document Room of the Premierships Ottoman Archive. İn this study, Ayniyat Register of the Aydın Province which resides in Sublime Port Document Room, enumerated as 812, transcripted and examined by current literature based on the reflection of events mentioned in the documents. Accordingly to this, between years 1866 to 1877 in Aydın Province, documents gave information about the appeal case records which were apart from the jurisdiction of the Sharia courts, banditry movements, construction activities, datas about assigned or dismissed officers and about many more topics. Thus, the aim of this research is to provide source for the Western Anatolia researchers and make contribution to the administrative, judicial, social and economical history of the Aydın Province between the years 1866-1877.
