Abstract (EN)

The religious education that children receive from birth to primary school age is more productive as we understand children. Therefore, religious education and child psychology are inseparable. Considering the personal development of the child, his mental, emotional and spiritual development begins to develop in the preschool period and this process continues throughout his school life. After all, these are the steps the child takes for his future life. In the development of these stages, priority is given to the mother and father, who are the child's first teachers. While the learning process of the child continues with the mother and father, when the child reaches school age, teachers are also included in this responsibility. The child begins to shape his personality and character through social learning theories. Education and training are of great importance for the child to be able to explain and understand the concepts formed in the religious development process. The preschool child, whose mental world expands with concepts, establishes an emotional bond with every religious concept. In this process, while religious concepts are formed in the child, emotional elements such as love, respect and compassion should be visualized in the mind. Because the child; He gets help from the visuals in his mind in the development of valuable concepts such as Allah, the prophet, prayer and worship. The study generally consists of three parts. In the first part, the theoretical framework of the study is discussed. In the second part, the method followed in the research is stated. Finally, the obtained results were evaluated. The best way to measure the painting skills of school-aged children is to ask them to paint. The clues in the picture help us to understand the character, feelings and thoughts of the child. Primary school students aged 9-13 participated in the study. The children participating in the research were asked to draw a picture of the Prophet. Then, from these pictures, it was determined what kind of image the Prophet had in the eyes of children.
