Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was investigated that activities developed with constructivist teaching approach effects on the concept gaining level of students in the secondary education 9'th class geography lectures. Research has been carried out by studying 99 students whose consist of the test group and control group sample at Ankara Halide Edip High School in the second term of the 2011-2012 education year. Lectures was given to the students as a control group to be based on program and test group to be based on activities. Research method is consist of the pre-test and post-test experimental technique with control groups. Throughout the research, "40 Academic Success Test Questions" which was developed by the researcher was used to measure changing students success. Research was carried out by the technics that is used in percentage, frequency and arithmetic average with One-Way Variant Test (ANOVA) and Two-Way ANOVA For Repeated Measures to comparision of the test groups and the control groups success. According to the research, test groups based on activities are more succesful than the control group based on program.
