The level of knowledge of 9th grade graphic design students about basic design principles and elements

Basic design is a concept that is equally important and its importance is increasing, even though the practice shows differences in all design disciplines and education. Within the scope of this study, graphic design practices of these basic design principles and elements will be emphasized; the basic design concept will be associated with graphic design practices. The effect of basic design concept on basic design education in graphic design practices researched. By analyzing the basic design concept, the definition of the basic design, its relationship with the concept, the meaning of conceptual terms will be researched, and in this context the great importance of basic design education in design in graphic design practices will be explained. In this study, making the definition of the basic design concept correctly, evaluating this concept correcty by evaluating it together with its own elements and principles,following the difference in the quality of the design phases if it is built into a concept, and the effect of design on thinking correctly, generating an idea, concepting information in graphic design practices will be mentioned. Also, in graphic design practices the basic concept and the location of design can be seen clearly is intented. One of the most basic aims of the basic design course is to create creative designs. Basic Design aims to study all emotional and intellectual processes in a holistic way, starting from feelings and announcements such as watching, observing, perceiving, examining, creating, sensing, informing, thinking, criticizing, generating ideas and evaluation. The aim of the study is to transfer information which is given during the education process and their effects on students to the level of their knowledge level.
