Influence of β-Glucan on some haematological and immunological parameters of healthy Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

Fish were fed the control and experimental diets containing glucan at 0.5 %, 0. 1 % levels for two weeks and the feeding rate was 2 %. During experiment hematocrit (Hct), haemoglobin (Hb), and the values of phagocytic activities were determined. At the end of the investigations, hematocrit and phagocytic activity values of fish fed with the diets containing two levels of glucan were higher than that of fish fed with control diet.
