Abstract (EN)

The importance of technological devices in the fight against crime and in the elimination of crime is increasing day by day. Globalization, modernization and today's technological developments bring with it the difference of the crime method. No matter how crime methods change, the more the devices used in crime lighting methods change and develop. Nowadays, firearms are undoubtedly one of the factors that directly affect human life among the materials that are the subject of crime in the formation of crimes. In this study, in a case where firearms were used, it was aimed to identify the 9mm diameter the cartridge case and bullet cores obtained from the crime scene and to determine their brands. Obtained from the scene, 9mm. Three different brands of semi-automatic pistols (CZ, Browning and Beretta) were preferred for the identification of the brands of shell and bullet cores around the world. With these pistols, 150 cartridges were fired into the firing water tank and examined, taking into account the general marks on the cartridge case traces on the capsule and traces of the firing pin. Also in this study, the groove and set marks on the bullet cores were examined. Leica Z6 APO macroscope, Leica FSC comparison macroscope, Digital caliper measurement device and BALISTIKA systems are used in the study of the hive and bullet cores. As a result of the ballistic system, the success results obtained in the determination of traces on the cartridge case of three different weapons (the system was entered without specifying a brand) are generally found to be CZ 82%, Browning 18% and Beretta 82%. In terms of the cartridge case, it was observed that the cartridge case groups that they belonged to were identified, but the brand of the weapon used could not be determined. As a result of the examinations of the bullet trace under a macroscope; It was observed that the groups of bullets were determined, but the brand of the gun used could not be determined.
