Categories locality and temporality in the language of art picture of the World, "Eugene onegin" A.S. Pushkin

The aim of this thesis is to examine linguistically the categories of place and time in A. S.Pushkin's famous work «Evgeniy Onegin». "Yevgeniy Onegin" is regarded as the summit of the art of A. S. Pushkin. Thus, learning and teaching all the works of the great Russian writer and "Yevgeniy Onegin" takes a large part of the time of the employees of the Russian Language and Literature Departments of Turkish universities. Understanding events in the work (especially time and space items); is really difficult for someone who does not know the original language of the work which is not its native language and conditions of Russia in the XIX. century, so the novel should be studied with linguistic and cultural interpretations. Our work consists of two parts. In the first part, the concept of the place in the work was mentioned in general and various analyzes were made. In the second part of the work, the presentation of the concept of time at work is presented in linguistic elements. In addition, at the end of the study, a supplementary study called Linguistic and Cultural Interpretation of the Concepts of Place and Time in «Yevgeni Onegin» was presented.
