Abstract (EN)

In this study, AA6013 and AA7075 materials were combined with friction welding method using different welding parameters (speed, pressure and time). Vibration analysis, microstructure analysis and macrohardness measurements of the combined samples were examined. The effect of modified welding parameters on the examinations was investigated. In addition, the usability of vibration analysis, which is a non-destructive testing method, was investigated. In the introduction of Chapter 1, literature data of the studies on friction welding and material pairs combined with friction welding are given. In Chapter 2, the history of friction welding method, types of friction welding, parameters used in friction welding, advantages and disadvantages of the method are given. Chapter 3 provides general information about vibration theory and FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis. The steps of the experimental studies used in the friction welding of AA6013 and AA7075 pairs, preparation of metalagrophic samples, hardness measurement and SEM images are given in Chapter 4. The results obtained in Section 5 are given and general appraisals are made.
