Abstract (EN)
This study gives general overview about international and European police cooperation after globalization process all over the world. It explains main organizations of European Police cooperation and focuses on European Police Office-Europol. After stressed the geographical structure, historical and political improvement of Turkish Republic and analyzed the struggling on main criminal activities in Turkey, terrorism, organized crimes, smuggling of narcotics, money laundering, it evaluated the necessity of European police cooperation and membership of Europol for Turkey.
