Definiton of security, everystate of risks are acceptable. Occupational health and safety had grown up withIndustrial Revolution and constitutes the most important area of social policy.In fact, occupational health and safety became a common problem of employers,workers and governments. Occupational health is important for accordancebetween employees and work. Existing the occupational safety in a countryshows that the government how interferes the working life.Between the international organizations which show more activity aboutoccupational health and safety are International Labour Organization (ILO),WHO and European Union (EU). ILO is the most important organization forinternational labor law. According to ILO, health and safety are inseperableand decent work must be safety work.Althoguh EU was established for economic activity in the beginning,social policy became significiant topic in the period of development. In thiscontext, EU?s social policy became important. Occupational health and safetybecame the most important area of social policy. With this development,application of occupational health and safety became significant area for socialresponsible employers.Key Words : 1) Occupational Health, 2) Occupational Safety, 3) Social Policy4) European Union, 5) Social Responsibility.
