Abdî-i Karahisârî and his Divan

This study is based on the text detection and investigations on to transcription of the poetry (Divan) of 19th century Ottoman poet Abdî-i Karahisârâ. This study is composed of three sections. In the first section the poet's life, works and literary personalities have been mentioned. In the second section Divan has been examined in terms of form and content. The third section contains the transcription text of Divan. In conclusion, the acquired information and achievements have been expressed as a result of the study. After conclusion section information on the way of the text construction has been stated. The last part of the study contains the references utilized throughout the works.Key Words: Abdî-i Karahisârî, Divan, 19th century, sections.
