The critical edition and evaluation of the book enttitled Sharh al mokhtâr by Abdulgani Karabaghi

This work is a critical edition, in other words an evaluation of a kind of literature named investigation. The subject of the work which we searched is about Sharh al-Mokhtâr; an expound of the work called el-Mokhtâr. This work was written in the field of Hanefi sect and was accepted one of the four passages. We have evaluated the style of the author and the contents of the work by making additional critic. This manuslriat work belongs to Abdulgânî Karabâghî Efendi; one of the Ottoman faqihs.(religion scholar) Our work consists of the four chapters. The first part is introduction and it includes the aim of research, subjects it covers, techniques and the life of the author Abdulgani Karabagi. In the second part the reasons for why it's written, its content, the subject it covers and how it's used. Thish part includes the fhıkhi choices of Karabaghi, the choices inside sects and the attributions made to other sects. In the last and third part, the current copy of the work Şerhul Mukhtar and the ways used in ascertainment is expressed.
