Abdullah İlâhî's Zâdü'l-Müştâkîn (investigation-text)

Abdullah-ı İlahi is one of the Sufis, who lived in the 15th century of the Ottoman Empire, and had a Melami character. He has written works in these 3 languages, Turkish, Arabic and Persian, in the field of Sufism. The work we are working on is a voluminous book that includes Sufi teachings and concepts written in Turkish in the form of prose. Our study consists of 3 parts, firstly introduction. The subject, purpose and method of there search are included in the introduction section. In the first part, information was given about the life of Abdullah-ı İlahi, his education in madrasah, his travels, his affiliate to Sufism, his guiding activities and his works. It has been determined in which libraries these manuscripts are present today. In the second chapter, a limited number of studies have been made on the Sufi concepts mentioned in Zadü'l-Müştakin. After expressing the interpretation brought by the Sufis to the concept we are dealing with, the original discourses of the Abdullah-ı İlahi given to the a fore mentioned concept are expressed. In the third part, the translation, which forms the basic building block of ourwork, has been brought to our language with transcription letters. First of all, after the transcription equivalent of the letters was introduced, the main translation, which is the text, waspassed. As a result, it has been determined that Zadü'l-Müştakin is a book in the type of advisory, composed of mystical concepts and interpretations given to these concepts.
