Abstract (EN)
The sources about the aruz system in Classical Turkish literature consisted of Arabic and Persian works for a long time. Aruz sytem was firstly applied in Classical Turkish literature, then theoretical works were created. In the Anatolian field, besides Arabic and Persian treatises concerning aruz, there are also theoretical aruz works written in Turkish. The work called Mahzen-i Esrâr-ı Şu'arâ belonging to Abdünnâfi İffet, which is the subject of the study, is also an example of theoretical aruz works written in Turkish. The work was written in the century XIX, It is a prose treatise that contains Turkish copyright, conceptual information about aruz and rhyme. The work includes the meanings of terms related to aruz and rhyme, Arabic and Persian methods brought together as Turkish, rhythm groups in the aruz system, rhyme and rhyme defects. The conceptual information in the work is exemplified by Arabic, Persian and Turkish couplets. In the work, there are corner-edges where the terms are explained and four citations in the last chapter of the text. In this study, the work named Mahzen-i Esrâr-ı Şu'arâ was transferred to the transcription alphabet and the content of the work was examined.
