The research of Abdürraûf Muhammed el Münâvî's İmâdü'l Belâğa

When Abdürraûf Muhammed el-Münâvî (952/1545) was born, Yavuz Sultan Selim was ruling the Ottoman Empire. After Yavuz Sultan Selim's expedition to Egypt (923/1517), Cairo, where Münâvî lived, joined Ottoman lands.Zeynüddin Muhammed Abdürraûf b. Tacilarifin b. Nuriddin Ali al-Muammer al-Haddadi who grew up in Egypt during the Ottoman rule; He started his scholarly activities at a very early age. He was a brilliant scholar who proved his scientific competence during his lifetime. We think that, the work named 'Imâd'ul-belâğa, which is attributed to Muhammad al-Mün'viah (d.1031 / 1622) ; is a precious dictionary work includes the poetry of parable proverbs and couplets from important divan poets. By taking this work to the center, we thought that introducing the author who is one of the most valuable scholars of his time and providing an example of the investigation study which is an important method of writing in Arabic literature, will be useful.In this context, the work İmâdâül-belâğa by Abdürraûf Muhammad al-Munâvi consists of one introduction and two sections. In the introduction, the political events of the period,the aim and methods of the study are mentioned. Then, in the first chapter, brief information about Munavi's life, teachers and students of that period and their works, were given. In the second part; İsmail es-Seâlibî's work Simâru'l Kulûb and Münâvî's work İmâd'ül Belâgâ were examined in terms of form and content. Also, the information we got from the various libraries of the country which have the manuscripts , archives, seals and collections, are mentioned and the samples that are taken from Imam-ul Belaga have been explained and evidenced with the search of works from other scholars.
