Comparison and analysis on the epics of Abilay Khan and Kabanbay Batyr

In this study, ten historical epic texts about Abilay Khan and nine historical epics about Kabanbay Batyr were translated from Kazakh Turkish to Turkey Turkish. The epics about Abilay Khan are taken from the 57th volume of the one hundred volume Babalar Sozu, published in Kazakhstan in 2010. The epics about Kabanbay Batyr are taken from the 58th volume of the same series, which was published in the same year. The first part of the thesis is "Introduction". In the second chapter, how Kazakh historical epics are approached in the classifications made on Kazakh epics has been revealed. In the third chapter, epics are examined in terms of their relations with history, and the issues that overlap and do not overlap with the historical information in the epics are evaluated. In the fourth chapter, the analyzed epics are compared in terms of their episodes. In the fifth chapter, transcriptions of epics from Kazakh Cyrillic Alphabet into Turkish Latin Alphabet and their translations into Turkey Turkish are given. The epic-history relationship method and version comparison method applied in the thesis have not been used in any other studies at the level of doctoral thesis in Turkey, they were developed for this study for the first time. In the conclusion part, there are determinations and evaluations.
