Abstract (EN)

This thesis consists of the transcription and linguistic analysis of the work Kılık Kitap, written by Abusupiyan Akayev. Abusupiyan Akayev was an intellectual who contributed numerous works to Kumyk literature and produced many translations. Kılık Kitap consists of thirty-four chapters, an introduction (mukaddimat), two story sections, and an additional text appended by Orazayev. The work mainly addresses moral themes. It is a linguistic relic written in Kumyk Turkish, which is a Kipchak dialect. The thesis is composed of six chapters in total. The introduction provides information about the Kumyk Turks and their literature, Abusupiyan Akayev's life and literary identity, and an overview of Kılık Kitap. The phonology and morphology chapters analyze the work in terms of its phonological and morphological features. In the text chapter, both the transcription and translation of the book are presented. The final part includes the conclusion and index sections. Examining this work in terms of phonology and morphology and preparing its index will contribute to field studies.
