Abstract (EN)
Although disaster and disaster management are terms that have been mentioned a lot in the literature around the world, they are also new concepts. The world geography produces disasters, the number of which is increasing day by day due to both geological and climate changes. As a result of these disasters, they especially affect the demographic structure and economic structure of the countries. After disasters with severe consequences, countries have accelerated their obligatory studies on disaster management in order to strengthen their social and economic structures in a more dynamic and permanent way. As a result of the concept of disaster management supported by scientific data, certain criteria have been established. After the disaster, it is aimed to ensure that the disaster survivors continue their lives in more humane conditions and then integrate them into life after life. As a result of these, it has become necessary to determine the emergency assembly areas for the first stage after the disaster, and temporary shelter areas for the disaster victims. The aim of this study is to examine the compliance of the temporary accommodation areas announced for the central districts of Sakarya province Adapazarı District and the district in general with national and international standards. While doing the study, it was tried to create numerical data using Net cad, map checking and Google Pro programs, as well as to determine the suitability of temporary shelters and emergency shelters according to the results obtained with the help of various maps. At the end of the study, recommendations and suggestions were made about training, coordination and physical conditions about the results determined.
