Abstract (EN)

The management, manager, leader and conflict are the terms that originate from differences between the individuals. Management is the collection of studies that carried out using existing resources convenient and efficiently for the suitable goals. Manager is the one has the power of managing , arranging and controlling people. The term that a group of people follow a certain individual for achieving a goal is refered to as leadership. strategies .According to the contemporary perception, conflict is a term that is inevitable and stated along with the concepts like hostility, negativity and resentment in between the individuals or organizations. The conflict is recommended to be controlled in accordance with the goals of organizations, since the efforts to suppress, remove or thwart an existing conflict inside the organization, will affect the system in a negative way. The aim of the current study was to investigate the the relationship between the leadership styles and the strategies of conflict management of emergency rescue employees who work in at constant stress environment.In the current study, the relationship between the leadership styles and the strategies of conflict management of emergency, rescue and intervention employees of Erzurum Province were investigated. It was observed that employees had used interactive leadership style (3,21) more than transformational (3,08). Altough they were preferred domination (3,34) as the conflict management strategy, but also used integration (3,08), compromise (2,98), avoidance (2,98),compatibility strategies (2,93). The managers on both of the two leadership styles (std. reg. coeff.0,799-0,745) were used the integration strategy as the conflict method. It was concluded that manager of emergency, recue and intervention managers are requied to adopt and implement. transformational leadership style and the integration strategy as a conflict method becuse of their profession and working condition.
