Open source parental control software

In this thesis study, an open source parental control software is developed by using .NET platform and C# programming language. Nowadays, keeping under control our child's interaction with computer and internet became a difficult situation. "Aile Koruması" is open-source and free, it is designed for blocking inappropriate websites, tracing the websites which childrens visited, setting timing rules for computer usage, determining which softwares and games should run. The developed software has web page filtering and blocking, time control, temporary password, watching and reporting features. Compared by softwares on the market, Aile Koruması which is open source can be used by parents easily.
