As the world and the world sea transportation changes and develops, the ports too changes to fulfill the world demands. These last years goal was to increase the capacity of the transportation. To reach this goal, the ships got bigger with high capacities. This changes effects the ports too as the ports depth get deeper, quay walls get larger and canals get wider. With bigger ships there is bigger propeller and this means more damage on the quay walls, canals and narrow shores. For this reason it is really important to know and calculate the effects of the water jets for the designersThe purpose of this study is to find out the scouring around the cylindrical piles, distrubution of the velocity and determine the effect of free propellers on the cylindrical piles which has different slopes with help of ADV and CTA.
